Patrick Mayne is the Vice President of Operations & Environmental Compliance for Aplomado and its energy investment affiliate PetroCap. Prior to joining Aplomado and PetroCap in 2018, Patrick worked as a consulting engineer for various operators in the Permian Basin, including PetroLegacy Energy II, Fleur de Lis Energy, and Henry Resources. Patrick’s career started in the oil and gas industry as a Drilling and Operations Engineer with XTO Energy. He also served as a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Patrick received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2009. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, ADAM Energy Forum, and the Permian Basin Petroleum Association.
