David Hopson

David Hopson is a Partner of Aplomado and its energy investment affiliate PetroCap. Before joining Aplomado and PetroCap, he worked for 18 years at Hyperion Resources, Inc. as Vice President, Land and Acquisitions. Prior to joining Hyperion, David worked as a landman for both Sabine Corporation and Mitchell Energy Corporation. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Petroleum Land Management degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen and the Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen.
